Hey, I'm Gio
Dutch entrepreneur based in Thailand. I build companies, ship software, and deliver rice.
Three paper routes by age 11. Started importing phones from mainland China before Xiaomi was a thing. Talked my way into a job at an internet company at 15, worked at a hosting company by 16, and got into health — business development and IT — by 17. All while chasing a commercial economics degree, then a BBA in entrepreneurship, and finally an MBA. Started in Europe, moved to Asia, worked across the US. These days I run GVDworks for consulting and co-build SaaS products at Veldspark Labs.

The Real Story
I've dealt with anxiety and panic attacks for as long as I can remember. It doesn't define me, but it's shaped how I work and why I never sit still. If you deal with this too — reach out. I'll always make time for that conversation.

How I Work
Build, Don’t Advise
I embed with teams and ship alongside them. Strategy without execution is just a document.
Technology as Leverage
The right tool at the right time lets a small team punch above its weight.

Charity Rice Runs
4 runs & countingEvery month I load up the Ford Ranger with rice and supplies and drive to orphanages and elderly care homes near the Thai-Myanmar border. Regular deliveries go to Bilay House and Samson House. It started as a one-off and became the thing I look forward to most.

Also involved with Be Well Child Care Foundation and Good Start Charity Foundation.
